Encinitas4Equality was established in late May 2020 in response to the murder of George Floyd. The community’s demand for justice and long overdue obligation to join the movement for Black Lives and address systemic racism on our doorsteps became immediately apparent. Our mission is to educate, organize, and mobilize our community to work in allyship with our Black neighbors in Encinitas and neighboring communities. Through education and activism we hope to build a community that fosters, supports, and protects diversity. The long term vision of E4E is to continue to engage our community to demand equality and collectively ensure social justice for all marginalized groups.
