Allyship & Education

Allyship is a lifelong process of building relationships based on trust, consistency, and accountability with marginalized individuals and/or groups of people not self-defined—work and efforts must be recognized by those you are seeking to ally with.

In Encinitas, our mission is to center equality through education of students, parents, family, and community efforts. Our goal is to integrate learning, connection, and opportunities that welcome our existing black, brown, and minority community members in being represented, supported, seen, heard, and welcomed with safety, respect, and greater options for success in all areas of life.

We will focus on education based allyship that increases understanding, empathy, and connection between all groups of people in all areas of life with the goal to reframe how our children learn, our parents are supported, our teachers teach, the accessibility of our wellness, the safety of our healthcare and the connection between our homes and community.
