Community & Advocacy

“The end of racism, begins with hello.” At E4E we believe that bigotry, racism, oppression stems from fear of the unknown, ignorance, and belief that equity means giving something up.  We know that when we are curious about other cultures, people, lifestyles, stories we can enter relationships with open minds and hearts, and lead from a place of connectivity rather than close-mindedness and fear. The mission of the community and advocacy group is to work in allyship with existing BIPOC neighbors, as well as diverse neighboring cities through education initiatives and shared collective experiences. Our vision is to cultivate a more welcoming and diverse Encinitas including reciprocal lasting relationships.
